Mr. Jabir from Eravur complaint against the chief editor. Is this a contract to finish Puvi?”
Mr. Jabir, from Old Market Road – Eravur 03, has complained against Mr Puvi Rahmathullah, chief editor of Vaarauraikal .
He has complained in Kattankudy police for the news that Mr. Rahmathullah had published in his 277thpublication of his Vaarauraikal weekly with the heading ‘Deputy minister Hizbullah’s son Hiraz ahamed loving fun with foreign girls’
In his complain, which is written in MOIB registration book page no 160 kattankudy police, He says:
‘On 18th October I was in a bus in polonnaruwa. At that time, Puvi came there for Vaarauraikal news paper sale; I gave him a hundred rupees and bought a paper. But he didn’t give me the balance money’
‘In that edition, he had published news and photos of Economical development deputy minister Hizbullah’s son Mr. Hiraz Ahamed. But Hiraz Ahamed is still studying in London and Puvi has published this news for his personal malice and political benefits’
‘He should rewrite again that this is a false news in his Vaarauraikal ‘
Mr. Puvi Rahmathullah , chief editor of vaarauraikal , replied in his formal statement to this complaint at Kattankudy police station (MOIB page 213 ; para 165 ; Date 20.10.2013). He says:
‘I have been publishing this Vaarauraikal weekly for 8 years with government approval. I don’t know this person who had made a complaint against me’
‘I had republished news and photos in my Vaarauraikal news paper on 18th October. That news and photos had already published in a website named ‘Puluthi.wordpress.com’ and seen by a lot of people.’
‘I didn’t go to Plonnaruwa for news paper sale on that particular day and also never sold my news paper in any bus. Just I sold at Jamiyullafireen market square and Kattankudy on that day.’
‘If Mr. Jabir proves in court that the above mentioned news about Hizbullah’s son is false news, I am ready to write it in my Vaarauraikal according to the court order. I request Kattankudy police to take necessary actions on this complaint.’
Vaarauraikal is observing the next movement of Kattankudy police in this case.
Deputy Minister Hizbullah is a person, who born and brought up in Kattankudy. His wife is also from a respected Kattankudy muslim family. Their beloved child, who is known that he had loving fun with Hong Kong lady, is Mr. Hiraz Ahamed.
Vaarauraikal had published this news in its 277thedition. It was sold on 17th October evening in Kattankudy main road and 18th October morning at Jamiyullafireen square and local news paper agents. It was also sold among the crowed of kattankudy beach on 18th evening.
Deputy Minister Hizbullah had been stayed in kattankudy with his family during this period for Haj festival celebration. But he, his wife, his family, relatives and friends didn’t care at all about this news. Any such person didn’t complain in police that it was false news.
Especially deputy minister didn’t say a single word about this news.

He, Mr. Ali Mohamed Jabir from Eravur, is a former security guard of Deputy Minister Hizbullah.
New Kattankudy GSO Mr. YLM. Ibrahim’s house was attacked by shooting. In this case this Jabir was identified as the culprit by the court and also his police post was confiscated.
He also involved with another shooting incident which happened in Raza Alim Road on Mr. ULA Marzook’s house, who has competed as a candidate of UNP in parliament election, 2000. During the period of this case was running in Batticalao High Court, Jabir accordedwith Marzook through the help of Federation of Kattankudy Mosques and Muslim Institutions. As the result of this accordance, he released by court without identifying as a culprit.
Then he settled in Eravur and worked as a Dialog sale agent. But one day Mr. Mahmood lebbe, who was very famous in this dialog agent business, killed suddenly in Eravur. In this murder case Mr. Jabir was remanded again for several months. Now he has come out in bail as a hostage.

As well as, the famous textile business man and former president of Batticaloa Jamiyussalam Jumma mosque, Mr. KM.
