Sri Lanka against internationalization of reconciliation process as it will expose the government cheating the Tamils!

The Sri Lankan government is against the internationalization of the post-war reconciliation process in the country, a government statement said on Thursday as this will pave way for cheating and abuse by government forces and politicians will be exposed to the world. The Tamils are NOT allowed to remember their next of skins who were killed by the Sri Lankan forces. The UN believes that more than 40,000 Tamil Civilians and thousands of LTTE members who surrendered with white flag were killed by the Sri Lankan forces in the month of MAY 2009 and the Government leaders has asked the sinhale forces who are accused of militarising the North of Sri Lanka to stop the Tamils going to Temples and churches to remember their killed relatives. The world Human Right activist including  United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Navanethem (Navi) Pillay has reported that the Government of Sri Lanka has prevented Tamils in the north from commemorating those killed in the war.
Sri Lanka’s Permanent Representative to the UN Palitha Kohona who is accused of being involved in organising the LTTE Leaders to surrender with white flag who were eventually  killed by the Sri Lankan forces,  said that Sri Lanka must have the time and space to complete the reconciliation process that has already seen tremendous progress. Since May 2009 more Sinhale areas, the South of Sri Lanka  which were not effected by the war had been developed in large scale compared to the war effected North and East of Sri Lanka where Tamils live.
“Sri Lanka will continue to take all necessary measures to heal the wounds of conflict on its own, as the internationalization of the reconciliation process, would only result in stymying the progress, particularly since it is a domestically developed process,” he said.
Although the President Mahinda Rajapakshe who promised implement the 13+ political package in giving equal rights to Tamils in Sri Lanka once the LTTE was killed off in April 2009 which made the world leaders turn a blind eye to the killing of Tamil Civilians by the SL Forces. They seriously thought that the Sri Lankan President was genuin in saying that, but once the killing was over the Racist president has shown his real face by refusing to implement even the current 13th amendment of the constitution in full. He has turned to China, Russia and Iran for support showing him self has a man challenging the Western countries. Hence the SL Government does Not want the world to get involved in the so called drama of reconciliation. The Sri Lankan government forces have taken over the houses and lands of Tamils in the north and are refusing to give it bake to the owners saying it as HSZ area, said a Tamil man who does not want to be named due to fears for his live .
He also said that the government has taken firm action against reported cases of violence against women and girls during the conflict and the post-conflict period. During the conflict between January 2007 and May 2009, Dr. Kohona said that seven security forces personnel were reported as having been involved in five incidents of sexual violence in the north of the country. This is out of a total of 125 persons accused in 119 incidents for the entirety of the Northern Province.
In the post conflict period between May 2009 and May 2012, he said that 10 security forces personnel were reported as having been involved in six incidents of sexual violence in the North. This is out of a total of 307 persons accused in 256 incidents for the entire Northern Province. Kohona said that the involvement of Security Forces personnel as a percentage of the total accused stands at 5.6 percent in the conflict period and 3.3 percent in the post-conflict period.
Human rights groups have been calling for an international investigation into alleged abuses committed in Sri Lanka, including by the security forces, during the final stages of the war against the Tamil Tiger rebels.
